What we expect
Role Responsibilities
- Lead vehicle demand planning, negotiate OEM concession agreements, and manage Fleet Management Partner performance.
- Oversee third-party Fleet Management contract tendering to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.
- Develop and enhance programs and systems for driver safety, vehicle inspection, and trip log compliance.
- Work with suppliers to develop a robust telematics dashboard (covering speeding, idling, utilization, etc.).
- Lead the annual tender process for vehicle upfitting and ensure all builds meet safety and operational requirements.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive accountability.
- Identify and implement improvements in cost-efficiency, safety performance, and quality control across the fleet.
- Own the annual MVR verification campaign for both field and salaried teams, resolve any discrepancies, and ensure audit-ready compliance records.
- Own the strategy and execution of achieving fleet sustainability targets, aligning with broader company Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.
Who we are looking for
Role Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Business, Logistics, Automotive Trade, or equivalent experience and education.
- Strong background in data analytics and experience as an advanced Excel user.
- Hands-on experience with Fleet Management providers and national-level fleet oversight.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle repair processes and standards.
- Proven success implementing and managing fleet telematics systems.
- Strong understanding of Provincial and National traffic safety regulations.
- Exceptional communication and vendor management skills.
